8:00 AM: Your guide and driver pick you up from your location in Hanoi to depart for Ninh Binh.
9:30 – 10:00 AM: Arrive at Mua Cave and begin an exciting trek to the summit of Ngoa Long Mountain to enjoy spectacular views of the rice valleys and surrounding nature.
12:30 PM: Have lunch at a local restaurant featuring Asian specialties.
2:30 PM: Take a boat trip through the Trang An grottoes, visiting caves such as Nam, Vong, Thanh Truot, and Dai, along with the iconic Film School area, famous from the movie Kong.
On the return trip, stop at Bich Dong Pagoda to worship and experience the peaceful Buddhist atmosphere.
Overnight stay in Ninh Binh.
After breakfast at your hotel, cycle to visit Thai Vi Temple, one of Ninh Binh’s oldest temples.
Proceed to Nam Dinh Province and visit the Cat Dang Lacquer Craft Village, which boasts over 600 years of tradition in producing lacquered wood items, including furniture and religious artifacts.
Upon arrival in Nam Dinh City, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and check into your hotel to relax.
3:30 PM: Join a cyclo tour starting from Lưu Gia Trang Ecological Restaurant, passing notable landmarks such as the Nam Dinh Flag Pole, Nam Dinh Museum, and the old quarter streets.
End the tour at Tran Hung Dao Monument, honoring the famed general who defended Vietnam against Mongol invasions. Return to your hotel by taxi.
Overnight in Nam Dinh City.
8:30 AM: Check out from your hotel and visit Hồng Quang Village, a center of traditional water puppetry where artisans showcase their craft and share stories about this folk art.
Afterward, head to Xuan Thuy National Park in Giao Thuy District and embark on a boat trip into the park, reaching the clam field where lunch is served in a clam hut surrounded by refreshing sea breezes.
2:00 PM: Leave the park and transfer to Ecohost Hai Hau to check in and relax in the peaceful garden setting.
4:00 PM: Take a bike ride to nearby Pham Phao Village, famous for wood carving and trumpet making, including a visit to the 16th-century Luong Pagoda with its unique tiled roof architecture.
